The power of asking for help!

One of the biggest mistakes we make far too often is trying to reinvent the wheel. We are talented, gifted and want to make more money but often we don't know where to start.

So, what do we do?

We, out of our ignorance just start "trying Things" to see if they work. This is a big mistake.

Don't just start trying things to see what works.

You've heard me repeat it loud and often in the New Age Marketing tips newsletter column--

Test, test, test.

But, in some cases that may not even be necessary.

If (and that's a big if), you do what I suggest and seek out other people who are more successful than you and find out what they do to make themselves more successful than you and then do what they do.

We spend a lot of time marketing on the web. Obviously, because you found us. What we have continued to do is seek out web site owners and ask them for their advice and help. This one simple idea has paid enormous dividends and can do the same for you.

Only a couple of weeks ago, I spent nearly an hour picking the brain of one of the owners of SelfGrowth.com .  The insights they provided have been helpful.

One of our goals for our web sites is to grow the newsletter subscriber mailing list. I figured if we want to learn from someone, then why not start with someone who already has over 45,000 people on his mailing list.

I contacted them and he was more than gracious to help.

This is what I want you to do.

If you are a Reiki Practitioner, seek out the most successful (financially) Reiki practitioner you can find and ask them what they do that causes them to be more successful than others like you.

If you are a retail store owner or manager then seek out the most successful retail store owners in your specialty.

What I find is, that New Age/ Metaphysical folks are more than willing to share what they know with you if you will only ask.

There are three sets of attributes that will determine whether you will be successful or not in your healing practice or newage business. .

You need to become more fluent in all three areas

1) Your sales, marketing and promotion knowledge

2) whether you think "abundance" or "scarcity" and

3) your desire to be more successful.

Some people claim it's not "spiritual" to be financially abundant.

I don't agree with that.

If you want to be successful you've also got to think abundance too.

It's the only way to free yourself to really live your passion and be able to express it.
